I think Oscar Wilde sums it up best:
Yet each man kills the thing he loves, By each let this be heard, Some do it with a bitter look, Some with a flattering word, The coward does it with a kiss, The brave man with a sword!
This is my sword! The aim though is not to kill but, hopefully, cull. The object of the satire is a great school, a truly great one that's being run into the ground by a bunch of ne'er do wells and sheisters.
