The producers’ decisions to move Del on to pastures new has inspired many to write in protest. Not one letter has supported the idea and many want the decision changed. The mood of our viewers is perhaps best summed up by Miss Emma Long-Gone of County Antrim who wrote:
What on earth have the producers done? What possessed them to write out the most entertaining character in the whole show? I don’t think I can cope without my weekly dose of Del.
I have been a fan of the show ever since Episode 1 and I just love Del. His hapless attempts to contribute in any meaningful way to the decision making processes of the school really crack me up. He is incompetent, bungling, inept and about as much use as condom machine at a eunuch’s convention. Quite how anyone is meant to believe that the dimwit would ever get promoted is quite beyond me. Leave him where he is, please!
Others, like Juan Carr of Gosport have spotted an opportunity:
Does this mean that Del is now going to get his own series? If so, what will it be called? Gone for a PISS perhaps? LOL!!
Andy Van-Hyer of Amsterdam seems to agree:
What a great opportunity this is. Please give him his own show! We love him out here!
It's really great to hear from you. Keep writing in!

Easy on the laughter young man! The new series is under consideration. Having said that, Del hasn't gone yet and there's time for a change of heart by PISS! Now that would be funny.
