You can definitely add Saudi just looking in to see how the old place is going. downhill, with ever increasing momentum, by the look of it

Indeed. And prince going seems only to have made matters much worse! who'd have thought it? Well, with Prince gone and Mersey going there's nothing to mitigate the worst excesses of Beecham. No amount of pruning of the school senior management team will do any good with the board of governors still in place. The governors past three appointments to Principal have been disastrous for the school and not one of the governors has demonstrated sufficient moral character to resign over it. Can anyone else see a pattern developing; - The governors appoint a principal without consultation with the staff.
- Nothing improves in the short term.
- Governors interfere.
- things still do not improve, arguably because of the governors interference.
- Governors interfere again.
- things get worse.
- Staff leave, disrupting the students education
- governors blame the principal they appointed and sack him.
- sacked Principal successfully sues the school for his entire contracted salary and benefits
- The governors appoint another principal without consultation with the staff.
- The governors appoint another principal, this time with no experience of international or private schools, again without consultation with the staff.
- Nothing improves in the short term.
- Governors interfere.
- things still do not improve, arguably because of the governors interference.
- Governors interfere again.
- things get worse.
- Staff leave, disrupting the students education
- governors blame the principal they appointed and sack him.
Anyone care to make a guess at what's going to happen next? JPS
